The Focus On Haiti Initiative cosponsored the Haiti Presidential Candidates Town Hall Meeting hosted on the George Washington University campus on September 15, 2015.
The event was moderated by Dr. Robert Maguire of the Elliott School and the Focus On Haiti Initiative, as well as Mr. Roberson Alphonse, of Le Nouvelliste, and Ms. Nathalie Liautaud, of the Haiti Renewal Alliance.
The primary topic was Economic Development and Investment in Haiti and candidates included: Charles H. Baker of Respe, Moise Jean-Charles of Pitit Desalin, Simon Deras of Palmis, Mathias Pierre of Konsyans Patriotik, and Jean Clarens Renois of Unir.
